Tekashi 6ix9ine needs no introduction as he is a very controversial figure in the Hip-Hop world. He has beef with almost every rapper worth mentioning point in time. He was also accused of some very peculiar things as well.
The rapper loves to live a lavish life and show off his riches, even though many fans continue to wonder just how he makes so much money in the first place. This is despite his music not selling all that well.
As many are aware, Tekashi 6ix9ine agreed to be the federal government’s star witness in the 2018 racketeering case against Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and Anthony “Harv” Ellison so that he could get a lighter sentence.
Ellison was accused of kidnapping Tekashi 6ix9ine and was convicted after the rapper’s testimony. According to Complex, Ellison has been named in an indictment which involves an alleged smuggling ring at Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) where he is incarcerated.
The indictment also accuses former Unit Secretary at the MCC, Sharon Griffith-McKnight, of trying to influence a judge prior to Ellison’s sentencing. McKnight claimed that Ellison was a “model inmate” and had shown “tremendous growth.
However, Griffith-McKnight had allegedly been helping Ellison and 10 others in a bribery scheme and the smuggling of contraband into the Manhattan facility. The alleged contraband included controlled substances such as Suboxone, Oxycodone and K2, phones, alcohol, cigarettes and more.
Ellison is facing charges for wire fraud conspiracy and narcotics conspiracy. Should be her convicted, he could receive up to 20 years in prison.
