Dana White is known to be a very controversial figure when it comes to the proper payment of UFC stars. He was called out for this fact many times by the likes of Jake Paul. However, it cannot be dismissed that Dana White has made UFC what it is today as it remains the most popular promotion for MMA in the world right now.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, Dana White, who is very famous in Las Vegas, stated that Vegas isn’t to blame for the Raiders’ recent controversies. This is because bad things can happen in any big city.
Dana White made it clear that he does not believe moving from Oakland to Nevada has contributed to the problems with the Raiders.
“People are going to make mistakes and bad things happen every day, no matter what city you’re in.
Listen, Vegas is a tough city and so is L.A. Go spend a weekend in L.A. It’s the same thing. It is what it is.”
While there is certainly truth to what Dana White said, the Raiders have had more notable issues than any team since they made the move to Las Vegas before the 2020 season.
Star running back, Josh Jacobs, was arrested and charged with DUI back in January. Star receiver, Henry Ruggs, was charged with a DUI charge after a fatal car crash this week. Cornerback, Damon Arnette, has been accused of injuring a woman in a 2020 car crash as well. We hope for the Raiders’ sake, no one else gets into trouble anytime soon.
