Travis Scott’s name has made headlines lately for reasons he certainly wouldn’t have wanted. This is because Scott’s latest Astroworld concert ended in utter tragedy. It seems fans even tried to stop the concert from the looks of it.
As reported earlier, Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston ended in the deaths of 8 people after a stampede broke out. On top of that, more than 300 people also suffered injuries.
Around 9 PM, people began surging toward the stage. People got crushed, which led to mass hysteria. All of this led to 8 people losing their lives in the tragic incident. In addition to that, 11 people went into cardiac arrest and were rushed to the hospital.
Journalist David Leavitt took to Twitter and uploaded a short clip where fans repeatedly pleaded with a cameraman to stop the show after the chaos ensued. Unfortunately, it all fell on deaf ears.
“There is somebody dead.” “Stop the show. Stop the show. Stop the show.” And the #AstroWorld show continued
Several victims from the Astroworld concert also showed off their horrific injuries recently. The concert riot was also said to be a targeted attack. We hope such a horrific incident never happens again.
