Travis Scott’s name has made headlines lately for terrible reasons this week. . This is because Scott’s latest Astroworld concert ended in utter tragedy. It seems Roddy Ricch will donate all of his pay to the families of the victims.
As reported earlier, Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston ended in the deaths of 8 people after a stampede broke out. On top of that, more than 300 people also suffered injuries.
Around 9 PM, people began surging toward the stage. People got crushed, which led to mass hysteria. All of this led to 8 people losing their lives in the tragic incident. In addition to that, 11 people went into cardiac arrest and were rushed to the hospital.
The likes of Drake and Roddy Ricch performed during the concert. One day after the tragic incident, Ricch took to his Instagram stories and revealed that he will be donating all of his Astroworld money to the families of the victims.
“Please have the families of those who we lost yesterday reach out. I’ll be donating my net compensation to the families of this incident #Pray4Houston.”
Fans even tried to stop the concert when the riot started during the concert but to no avail. Several victims from the Astroworld concert also showed off their horrific injuries recently. The concert riot was also said to be a targeted attack. We hope such a horrific incident never happens again.
