Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner have both spoken out about this subject. They said that Scott was not involved about the severity of the situation until his show was over. He did stop his set a couple of times to get help for people he saw, but the chaos took place in front of him without him knowing what was really happening.

A visibly distraught Scott later took to Instagram to explain how he couldn’t realize the severity of the situation, saying he would’ve taken action sooner than later had he realized how far the situation had gone out of control.
