In late October, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley was the victim of a scary home invasion. The real-life drama stood in stark contrast to her usual televised chaos for the show. This was real life. Now, video surveillance footage of the incident has been released showing just how real things could’ve become.
The video surfaced and was released by TMZ. In the clip, two men can be seen breaking into the Los Angeles home and then returning with their loot several minutes later. In the interim, a horrible scenario unfolded for Dorit.
Police say that once the two men entered Dorit’s home, they confronted her. Dorit begged for her life. She pleaded with the burglars to leave her children alone. Fortunately, they all escaped the situation unscathed.
There is no formal word on whether the men were armed. Some reports did indicate that the pair had guns. The police statement does not confirm this fact.
Fifteen minutes after the video showed the men entering the home, they leave the scene. They are dragging what seems to be a large blanket filled with valuables. The two then left the scene with the goods.
The LAPD is looking for information on the suspects. They are described as two black males between the ages of twenty and thirty. Dorit was alone at the time of the break-in. Her husband Paul Kemsley was out of town. Hopefully the cops can quickly apprehend these two before they terrorize someone else.
