The NFL has just completed its review of Green Bay’s COVID protocols, and the Packers have racked up $300,000 in fines as a result of COVID protocol violations.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was among those found in violation of the protocols. Both Rodgers, and Packers receiver Allen Lazard have been fined $14,560 each for their violations.
Both Rodgers and Lazard attended a Halloween party while unvaccinated, for which they have been fined as per the discipline schedule negotiated by the NFL and the NFLPA.
However, NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy praised the Packers for cooperating with the investigation.
The Club was fully cooperative in the investigation into violations of the collectively bargained NFL-NFLPA protocols.
That being said, the Packers have been warned that future violations may result in more severe penalties, including possible change of draft position or even the loss of draft choices.
