The Rock Reacts To Receiving 7 People’s Choice Awards Nominations

The Rock and his Seven Bucks Productions company have once again proved that they’re a major player in the entertainment industry. Co-founded by Dwayne Johnson and ex-wife Dany Garcia, the company has been nominated for an impressive seven People’s Choice Awards. The Rock himself tweeted the news and urged fans to vote.

Johnson has been working at a torrid pace as of late. He recently announced the first batch of front office hires for the revived XFL. He’s also working on a new holiday film franchise. Even with all the hard work, The Great One couldn’t help but take a moment to react to the big news.

The nominations span a variety of film and music endeavors involving The Rock. Jungle Cruise was nominated for Best Comedy Movie. Young Rock got the nod for Best Comedy TV Show. Johnson himself was nominated for best male TV and film comedy star for those his work on both. Rock was also named a finalist for the Social Star award.

The Rock has experienced a meteoric rise from professional wrestler to the A-list. His work as an actor and success in the squared circle were a perfect fit for when he decided to branch into production. He is now sitting on the throne of a Hollywood empire.

Dwayne Johnson still hasn’t forgotten his roots. He is open to a return to pro wrestling with WWE if the right opportunity presents itself. He’s just waiting for something that makes sense for him.
