Travis Scott loves performing in front of his fans and his fans love seeing him rap onstage as well. However, Travis Scott’s latest concert did not go as planned at all. It seems Scott continues to feel the consequences of his latest concert.
Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston ended in the deaths of 8 people after a stampede broke out. On top of that, more than 300 people also suffered injuries.
Due to this, multiple lawsuits were filed against Travis Scott and even Drake was included in the lawsuit. That was not all as Fortnite also removed the Travis Scott emote after the Astroworld incident.
After the incident, rumors spread that Scott pulled out of performing at the Day N Vegas festival. It seems they turned out to be true as Day N Vegas’ official Twitter handle announced that Scott will no longer be performing at the festival. Post Malone was announced as Scott’s replacement.
“The security and safety of all attending Day N Vegas has been and is always top priority in our festival planning. We continue to work hand in hand with law enforcement, medical personnel and public safety agencies on our protocols for the weekend. Please take care of yourself and each other. Look forward to seeing you in a few days.
We are excited that @PostMalone has been added to close out Saturday night! Download the Day N Vegas app to view set times, register your wristband aneceive real time updates and info
Fans even tried to stop the concert when the riot started during the concert but to no avail. Travis Scott was also warned by the Houston Chief Of Police about the Astroworld crowd before the concert. The effects of the tragedy will be felt for a long time from the looks of it.
