Paul Rudd Named Sexiest Man Alive

Fans always look forward to the People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive award. The annual honor went to Creed star Michael B. Jordan last year. The magazine has handed out the distinction for 33 years. Now, the torch has been passed to Paul Rudd.

The Ant-Man star joins an impressive list of previous winners. Rudd joins a pantheon that includes Mel Gibson, John F. Kennedy Jr., Tom Cruz, and more. Rudd accepted the honor with his signature charm. He says there are plenty of sexier men out there.

“I do have an awareness, enough to know that when people hear that I’d be picked for this, they would say, ‘What?’ This is not false humility. There are so many people that should get this before me.”

Rudd said that despite being named the Sexiest Man Alive, he finds his most peace and joy at home with his wife Julie and their two kids, Jack and Darby. He doesn’t really think about his own sexiness too often.

“When I think about myself, I think of myself as a husband and a father, like I’m that. I just hang out with my family when I’m not working. That’s what I kind of like the most.”

Rudd sarcastically said he expects his life to change. He’s waiting for calls from previous winners. He said he imagines that he’ll be on a lot more yachts soon. Paul reprises his MCU role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. His co-star Evangeline Lilly will also return for the upcoming superhero flick, which is slated for a 2023 release. He’s also got a new comedy series with Will Ferrell as well as Ghostbusters: Afterlife which comes out in theaters on November 19.
