Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. Due to this, he was removed from a previous game with the Kansas City Chiefs. It was said that he was unvaccinated. It seems Stephen A. Smith blasted him recently as well.
It was also said that Aaron Rodgers misled everyone including the NFL regarding his vaccination status. Aaron Rodgers appeared in preseason photos standing on the sideline in street clothes without a mask.
Recently, Aaron Rodgers apologized for misleading people when it came to his COVID-19 vaccination status. However, the apology was not a sincere one and many were bothered by it.
While speaking on First Take, Stephen A. Smith put Aaron Rodgers on blast for his pathetic apology after lying about his vaccination status. He then proceeded to call Aaron Rodgers weak.
”I’ve never looked at Aaron Rodgers and associated the word weak with him until this happened. Because according to science, if you’re not vaccinated, you’re more apt to contaminate somebody else and obviously yourself than you were if you were vaccinated.
To be as duplicitous. As my boy Jeff would say is ‘deliberately deceitful’; as you were ‘Oh yes, I’m immunized’. You were waiting for the media to ask you a follow-up question. Why? You could have simply said no.
Okay, so they didn’t follow up, and they didn’t do their due diligence and that’s on them, but it doesn’t allow them to escape your culpability in all of this nor that for the Packers. And then for the Packers to co-sign and let you gallivant around without a mask on, I’m not talking about press conferences. I’m talking on the football fields, communicating with players after each game.”
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers were fined for violating the COVID-19 protocols. Regardless, what Rodgers did is an extremely irresponsible thing to do and we do not condone his actions at all and hope no one does the same thing he did.
