Toosii is currently one of the rising stars in the Hip-Hop world, with 2021 being a solid year for him. This is largely thanks to his Thank You For Believing mixtape, a spot in the 2021 BET Hip Hop Awards cypher and also seeing his catalogue cross one billion streams. It seems he has addressed some artists’ behavior after the Astroworld tragedy.
As reported earlier, Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston ended in the deaths of 8 people after a stampede broke out. On top of that, more than 300 people also suffered injuries.
Around 9 PM, people began surging toward the stage. People got crushed, which led to mass hysteria. All of this led to 9 people losing their lives in the tragic incident. In addition to that, 11 people went into cardiac arrest and were rushed to the hospital.
Toosii took to Twitter and in a now-deleted post, called out some artist for dragging it after they reached out to fans following the Astroworld tragedy. He complained about the artists who suddenly pretend to care about fans after the incident.
“Why all these artists dragging it now that sh*t just happened with travis? Now everybody just wanna check on they fans? y’all ain’t been giving a f*ck about the fans some of y’all don’t even take pictures with them.”
Damages from the Astroworld tragedy are estimated to be in the billions as well. The concert riot was also said to be a targeted attack. Fans even tried to stop the concert when the riot started during the concert but to no avail. We hope such a horrific incident never happens again.
