Kanye West is considered a genius when it comes to being a businessman and also as an artist. As a balance, he falls very short when it comes to releasing music on time. This was especially true for the release of his ‘Donda’ album. Now it seems Beanie Sigel says Kanye West doesn’t owe him $50 million.
Kanye West’s fans are well aware of his ‘Yeezy’ nickname, which is also the name of his billion-dollar fashion empire. However, it was Beanie Sigel who came up with the nickname many years ago.
Sigel stated that West Kanye West has promised him a huge payday, which includes a $50 million check and five percent stock in his Yeezy company.
While speaking to TMZ, Beanie Sigel stated that the “Yeezy” name itself is only a mere fraction of the brand Kanye has created. Sigel stated that he doesn’t want the $50 million but would be open to West helping him out in a business deal.
Sigel said that he only needs a startup and from there he can build his own empire. It was also said that the $50 million and stock offer were simply based on a joke Beanie told in a club, and there was no truth to it. Regardless, it’s certainly great to see how much mutual love and respect the two have for each other.
