Chico DeBarge Busted For Drug Possession

Chico DeBarge made a name for himself as an R&B singer and musician. Unfortunately, it seems he has fallen from grace over the years. This includes him getting arrested for drug possession.

According to a report by TMZ, Chico DeBarge was arrested for possession of drugs and due to this, his motorhome got impounded as well. It was said that police officers received a call on November 6th about a man causing a disturbance inside a motorhome.

Then police officers arrived at the scene, they met up with Chico DeBarge noticed his RV had an expired registration of over 6 months. It was said that the motorhome was impounded and officers allegedly found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

He was arrested and charged for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The singer was then subsequently released from custody on a promise to appear citation.

The singer has been battling with addiction for years and has been arrested on three different occasions – in 2007, late 2019 and early 2021 for drug possession. We certainly hope the singer can get the help he needs to clean up his life.
