Freddie Gibbs Blasts DJ Akademiks At Day N Vegas

DJ Akademiks is certainly a controversial figure, with many in the world of hip hop having a bone to pick with him. Notably, Freddie Gibbs has been beefing with Akademiks for what seems like all too long.

The beef started with Akademiks accusing the rapper of cooperating with authorities and revealing that Gibbs’ father worked in law enforcement. The two have been verbally sparring on Twitter since.

Gibbs even turned a profit out of the beef, when he printed limited edition “F**k Akademiks” t-shirts. Now, the rapper has taken the beef to the stage.

Freddie Gibbs performed at the Day N Vegas festival on Saturday night, where he urged the crowd to join his signature “F**k police” chant. However, the chant quickly changed to “F**k Akademiks,” which got an even louder response from the audience.

It seems like the beef between Freddie Gibbs and Akademiks is not going to die down any time soon. Check out this clip of the performance.
