Following her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki, singer Adele is open to welcoming more children into her life. She’s already got a nine-year-old son, Angelo, but then her marriage fell apart. She’s been in a relationship with sports agent Rich Paul and is getting comfortable in her own skin again.
Adele talked to Oprah Winfrey about the possibility of adding to her family. Adele said she’d like to do it, but it’s not a priority. If it happens, she’d be thrilled. If not, it’s not the worst thing ever. Hollywood Life reported on the chat.
“I would like more children. It wouldn’t be the end of the world if I didn’t because I have Angelo, but yeah, I think so.”
The singer opened up about her relationship with Simon. She said the stability he gave her was what she needed at the time. She still trusts him to this day.
“He came at such a moment, whereas the stability that him and Angelo have given me, no one else would ever have been able to give me, like, especially at the time in my life. I was so young and I just think I got a bit lost in all of it. He came in and was stable. The most stable person I’ve ever had in my life up until that point, even now I trust him with my life.”
Adele’s new album, ’30’, will be released on November 19. It’ll be her fourth studio album. She’s looking to match the chart-topping success of her previous releases. Adele has sold over 120 million records to this point in her career.
