Soulja Boy Allegedly Rejected Signing Young Thug

There is no doubt that Soulja Boy is one of the most established rappers of the current Hip-Hop generation. He proclaims himself as one of the all-time greats and his narcissism is essentially infinite. It seems he passed on signing Young Thug.

For the past few years, Soulja Boy has made it his life’s mission to let everyone know just how influential he has been to the Hip-Hop world. While Soulja Boy does hype himself up a lot, there is no denying a lot of what he says.

Soulja Boy recently revealed that he missed out on signing YoungBoy NeverBroke Again because he was too late in checking his DM. By the time he did, YoungBoy was already signed elsewhere.

While speaking a BHigh TV interview, DJ Akademiks revealed that Soulja Boy allegedly passed on signing Young Thug as well for some reason. Fans couldn’t believe it either.

“I was working with Soulja Boy, and I was like ‘Thug, don’t worry, Imma get you out here with Soulja.’ I went to back to Soulja, I told him I had two people – I had Schoolie, and Young Thug that wanted to work with Soulja.”

“I brought Thug up to Soulja and he was like, ‘Man, nahhhhh. Blah, blah, blah.’ I’m like, ‘this dude is gonna be the biggest thing in Atlanta.’ I told him! And guess what Thug said. I went to him, and I told him and he said, ‘Don’t worry about it, I don’t need him. I’m gonna sign him one day.’ And look how big he is now, he could sign that boy!”

Soulja Boy also recently talked about Drake stealing his flow. On top of that, he settled his beef with Kanye West and is open to working with him in the future. We will have to wait and see when what will be.
