Travis Scott loves performing in front of his fans and his fans love seeing him rap onstage as well. However, Travis Scott’s latest concert did not go as planned at all. It seems paramedics at the Astroworld concert responded to 11 cardiac arrests at once.
As reported earlier, Travis Scott’s first night of his Astroworld concert in Houston ended in the deaths of 8 people after a stampede broke out. On top of that, more than 300 people also suffered injuries. Another has died from her injuries after being declared braindead.
That was not all as a 9-year-old succumbed to his injuries after getting trampled during the Astroworld concert. Police and paramedics had a field day at that time.
According to CNN, the CEO of ParaDocs, the medical company hired by Astroworld organizers “set the record straight” about his staff’s job at the event. Alex Pollak stated that his team treated 11 people who went into cardiac arrest at the same time.
“The team is extremely broken up about it. Seeing so many young people getting CPR at one time, it’s just something no one should have to go through. Even though we’re medical professionals, we should be used it. You can’t get used to something like that.
We never came close to running out of equipment and supplies. We could have treated at least double the amount of patients. We never expected in our lives to encounter a situation like that. It was absolutely horrific.”
It was said that Travis Scott was even warned about the Astroworld crowd before the concert. Disturbing Astroworld 911 calls also revealed a lot of details previously not known. We hope such a horrific incident never happens again.
