Conor McGregor simply isn’t what he used to be and Jake Paul is well aware of that fact. In the past, Jake Paul offered to pay Conor McGregor $50 million to face him in a boxing match but that ship has sailed. Many don’t think a boxing match between the two would even be feasible.
Many fans certainly agree that a boxing match between Conor McGregor and Jake Paul would be a big-money match. Jake Paul previously noted that he isn’t interested in fighting ‘loser’ Conor McGregor right now.
Jake Paul had previously stated that he is the ‘money fight’ for Conor McGregor. Despite this, it seems a possible boxing match between the two is always on everyone’s mind.
While speaking to Bleacher Report, Jake Paul talked about possibly facing off against The Notorious One. Paul stated that he will 100% face off against Conor McGregor within the next two years.
“This started with me calling out McGregor, and people were like, oh that kid’s crazy, McGregor would kill him. And now it’s like that fight could happen in the next 24 months, 100 percent. And it probably will, and I will beat him. People are seeing how serious I am about this and changing the way they think about it.”
Jake Paul is currently set to square off against Tommy Fury in a boxing match on December 18th. So it is evident Conor McGregor simply isn’t a priority for him right now. Regardless, it remains to be seen if the two do duke it out in the future.
