Jen Shah of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City says she expects apologies when the true nature of the federal charges against her are made public. Shah is charged with running a telemarketing scheme that scammed hundreds of innocent victims. Shah and her alleged partner, her assistant, pleaded not guilty to the crimes this spring.
On the latest episode of RHOSLC, Jen was raided during a girls getaway to Vail, Colorado. Shah had “coincidentally” bailed on the trip at the last second. She has maintained her innocence all along. Now, she’s taken fans to task who are pre-judging her based on the allegations on her Twitter.
“Just wait…The truth always comes out and when it does, I expect to see the same energy offered as an apology to me and my family. Periodt.”
Fans have offered their own wild speculation as to what exactly the message means. Many believe she’s targeting Meridith. The two started season 2 off with a bang by feuding over homophobic comments Jen made towards Meridith’s son, Brooks. Perhaps that’s the “same energy” she’s referring to.
Meredith has been targeting Jen more this season, so it makes sense that Jen would be seeking an apology. Also, it fits with Shah’s narrative of innocence just in case things publicly go sour with Meredith. It’s all just another day in the world of the drama that is RHOSLC.
Another new episode will reveal the next chapter in the fate of Jen Shah and her castmates. Bravo airs the show every Sunday at 9PM eastern. The show has been a firestorm of controversy in it’s first ten episodes, and Jen’s legal issues are certain to play a pivitol role in complicating things even more.
