Kristen Stewart Says They Were Young & Stupid During Robert Pattinson Romance

Kristen Stewart has been getting a lot of praise for her portrayal of Princer Diana in “Spencer”. However, in the wake of her engagement with Dylan Meyer, Stewart opened up about her long-term relationship with her former “Twilight” co-star Robert Pattinson.

In a new interview with The New Yorker the Charlie’s Angel star reminisced the good old days when the actors were in their early twenties. Stewart dated the new “Batman” from 2009 to 2013.

“And, whatever, we were young and stupid and, not to say that we made it so much better, but that’s what it needed, and that’s what anybody playing those parts needed to feel.”

Kristen also recounted the qualities that drew her to Pattinson. “intellectual approach that was combined with ‘I don’t give a f–k about this, but I’m going to make this sing.’ And I was, like, ‘Ugh, same.’”. Stewart mentioned that she (18 then) was swooning over the British actor during auditions.

Seems like Stewart is done with dating men though. She has dated visual effects producer Alicia Cargile and model Stella Maxwell before ending up with Mayer. She is quite sure about marrying Dylan Meyer as feels they are the perfect match. Twilight star Taylor Lautner also got engaged recently.
