Oprah Modified Her Rose Garden To Match Her Outfit For Adele Interview

Oprah Winfrey wins the award for this week’s most detail-obsessed celebrity. During her interview with singer Adele during the singer’s CBS concert special on Sunday, both stars looked coordinated in white suits. Even the flowers in Oprah’s garden matched.

Oprah says she wanted to do something special for the event. It was her first time meeting Adele. She initially planned to wear a different outfit, but once she saw the Rolling In The Deep singer’s outfit, she knew she had to make a change, according to Oprah Daily.

“I thought, Whoa, I’m going to look like a parrot next to her. I even had a conversation with Gayle about it. I said, ‘Oh my God, everybody went to the trouble to get this suit made, and now she’s going to be in a neutral color. I don’t want to stand out like a peacock.’

I had fretted so much, but it was the right choice for me. The crew ended up blocking out all the colored roses, so you can only see the white ones.”

After she made the fashion decision, Oprah had her crew hide any roses in the garden that weren’t white. That way, the entire setting was perfectly coordinated. The attention to detail is astonishing.

Of course, the talk show queen attended Adele’s “One Night Only” concert, as well. She wore a navy suit with feathered sleeves to the event, which took place at Los Angeles’ Griffith Observatory. She shared a video of herself and Lizzo dancing and singing along at the show to her Instagram.
