A-Rod Shoots Down Rumors Of A Relationship With Kelly Bensimon

Alex Rodriguez is a well-known ladies’ man. After his relationship with Jennifer Lopez fell apart amidst rumors of A-Rod’s infidelity, he appears to have moved on. Now, the former New York Yankees great is answering to even more rumors about his personal life.

After Page Six reported that Alex and Real Housewives of New York cast member Kelly Bensimon had a flirty relationship, speculation went wild. It was reported that the two were basically flirting over text messages. Now, a representative for A-Rod has told E! News that those rumors are false.

“[Kelly] reached out on a real estate opportunity and that is it,” Alex’s rep put it bluntly. “There are no flirty texts, there is nothing there.

A lot of people reach out to him for business purposes. Mr. Rodriguez is laser-focused on running Arod Corp, Timberwolves and being a present father for his daughters.”

Previously, a representative for Bensimon happily confirmed the rumors. Their statement to E! stood in stark contrast to the one released by Alex Rodgriguez’ team. It left things a little more open than A-Rod’s outright denial.

“They’ve been having a fun text relationship for the last couple of months. She thinks he is charming and a gentleman. They have mutual friends and she has been talking to him about real estate.”

The only confirmed fact is that the two were discussing real estate. Nobody except A-Rod and Kelly know for sure if the texts were flirty. Rodriguez is notoriously private about his relationships. He has been known to make his dates sign non-disclosure agreements in the past.
