Whitney Houston will forever be remembered as one of the most iconic and influential female singers of all time. She has sung several all-time classic songs during her time. Houston passed away back on 11th February 2012.

According to Rolling Stone, a previously unreleased song demo recorded by the late singer when she was 17 will be part of an upcoming NFT collection, which will be offered by OneOf. It was said that the song will be later on auctioned off as a single “OneOf One Iconic” item.

The auction will begin on December 1st during Miami Art Week at a two-day art, music and NFT event called OneOf.world. The one who wins the bid will receive access to the full-length version of the song in the OneOfVault. It will also include a digital video created by 17-year-old artist Diana Sinclair.

“I’m excited to see Whitney’s legacy and her wonderful music expand into bold new technology of this era,” Pat Houston, Executor, Estate of Whitney E. Houston, said in a statement. “It was a joy partnering with 17-year-old Diana Sinclair and watching the artistry of Whitney’s music influence a new generation.”

The Whitney Houston NFT collection will feature thousands of additional fixed-price NFTs, including Gold and Platinum offerings of rare archival photos from Houston’s early life and career. They are all intricately designed as animations that give them a digital scrapbook effect.

Proceeds from the sales of the collection will benefit the Whitney E. Houston Foundation. Registration and pre-qualification for bidders is available now. We will have to wait and see which lucky bidder will get to listen to the unreleased demo.
