Young Dolph, beloved Memphis rapper was fatally shot while picking up cookies at a local shop. Wednesday November 17, 2021, around 1pm is when he breathed his last.
Adolph Robert Thornton Jr. was filmed at a gas station before being gunned down and killed at Makeda’s cookie store down the street. Dolph was driving around his hometown of Memphis in his camo-wrapped Corvette Stingray.
The video was shot by someone at a neighboring pump. It momentarily shows Dolph in a yellow t-shirt, jeans and a ball cap. TMZ reported that his next stop was supposed to be at his annual Thanksgiving turkey giveaway in his old neighborhood.
Eye witnesses say that the rapper went straight from the gas station to Makeda’s cookie shop where the unknown gunmen opened fire with a pistol and an AK-47, killing the 36 year old rapper.
Law enforcement source say that the murderers escaped in a lighter-colored Mercedes. The matter is still under investigation. No one has been arrested yet.
