The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been trying to find its footing after Avengers: Endgame. The release of solo Disney+ series’ for many of its characters such as Loki, Hawkeye, Falcon & The Winter Soldier & Scarlet Witch helped immensely. However, Marvel needed to think bigger, and they successfully pulled it off with The Eternals.
The Eternals features a star studded cast featuring Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Angelina Jolie & Don Lee. The film even has a feature from artist Harry Styles.
The latest MCU flick has more or less received mediocre reviews from critics. However, that has never deterred any of the MCU fans to watch the film. The film has managed to gross a whopping $300 million on the box office, and still continues to push for the top.
Chloé Zhao is the director behind the film, who has won two Academy Awards for her flick Nomadland. The flick has grossed $123.6 million domestically as per Box Office Pro, and it’s keeping on the climbing.
The Eternals features a set of alien superheroes who came to Earth over 7,000 years ago. They saved it from threats in which were threatening to all existence, and they’ve rejoined each other to deal with the threat called The Emergence.
