LeBron James’s contributions to the world of professional basketball cannot be understated. James suffered a serious injury to his right ankle in the Lakers’ game against the Atlanta Hawks back in March. Even after coming back, James has never been the same
Boston Celtics’ Enes Kanter is certainly someone who is opinionated and is never afraid to speak his mind. This includes the time he blasted NBA players who refused to get vaccinated.
As reported earlier, Boston Celtics games are no longer being streamed on Chinese internet after comments made by Enes Kanter, where he made pro-Tibet comments. Kanter has not stopped talking about all of China’s wrongdoings and even carried on with his statements ever so vigilantly.
In fact, he even blasted LeBron James recently over Nike’s use of “slave labor” in China. While speaking to reporters after the Lakers vs Celtics game, LeBron James fired back at Kanter’s words. James made it clear that Kanter isn’t someone that he deems worthy of giving his energy.
“If you know me, I don’t really give too many people my energy. He’s definitely someone I wouldn’t give my energy to.”
James added that Kanter was “trying to use my name to create an opportunity for himself,” before stating that he “definitely won’t comment too much on that.” James then said with a smile, “He’s always had a word or two to say [in] my direction. As men, if you got an issue with someone, come up to him…He had an opportunity [to do that] tonight. I seen him in the hallway, he walked right past me.” In the end LeBron James has better things to focus on than what Enes Kanter said and that is the end of it.
