Jadakiss spent most of the latter half of 2021 proving he’s one of NYC’s greats. His presence, care for the community and straight bars are testament of his love for New York. His recent deed really highlighted his leadership for the community.
Jadakiss has been active in the community for a long time. Its well known that Jada is signed to Jay-Z’s Roc-A-Fella and Def Jam. This connection has made the two NYC natives share an even closer relationship.
At JAY-Z’s Roc Nation Job Fair at Madison Square Garden on Friday (November 19), Jadakiss along with Angie Martinez gave a boost to would-be job applicants seeking employment. This is not Jadakiss’ first participation. Reinvesting in the community, in the summer of 2014, Jadakiss and Styles P opened a juice bar in Yonkers, New York, called Juices For Life. They have gone on to open two more branches in The Bronx and one in Brooklyn.
The initiative aims to assist single parents and former prisoners with finding jobs in New York City. Employers on the job fair floor included: National Football League (NFL), PUMA, Spotify, the New York Yankees, Warner Music Group and others.
In other news, Hova cleared the Parlux Fragrances and Gold by Jay-Z cologne contract case in Manhattan. Avoiding payment of 67 million dollars in the lawsuit.
