The “No Flockin’” emcee Kodak Black has expressed his wish to see former President Donald Trump back in office. Fans responded saying that the 24-year-old needs to go back to prison.
The Trump-pardoned rapper pulled off a similar stunt back in June when he said, “I would like to see Trump back in office” during an Instagram Live session. On June 14, Kodak posted on social media to wish Trump a happy birthday — while rocking an autographed “Make America Great Again” hat and a “Trump 2020: Keep America Great” jacket.
Ever since Donald Trump gave a presidential pardon to Kodak Black for his prison release, Kodak has been a huge supporter of him. Black was freed by Trump in January this year, just as Trump relinquished his position as the president. Yak was behind bars since March 2020 on federal weapons charges.
The American rapper spoke about the former president during a recent Instagram Live session. “I would like to see Trump back in office,” he said. “I wouldn’t give a damn if he let me out of prison anyway. I was still f*ckin’ with Trump, but him doing that, it’s like you got all my love and sh*t. You got all my love and support, most def. And any nigga or any bitch who don’t like that, that just shows that you ain’t a good person and you ain’t loyal. You ain’t loyal ’cause anybody reppin’ for you like that, they ’posed to… So, you can’t look for me to not like buddy.”
On Saturday (Nov. 20), Kodak tweeted his desire to put Trump back in the White House: “Bring Trump Back.” He even attributed his relationship with Trump to both of them being Gemini, as Kodak’s birthday is June 11 and Trump’s June 14: “I’m a real one, Trump’s a real one. We Geminis. Pops, you know Pops, my lawyer [Bradford Cohen], I call him Pops like my daddy, know what I’m sayin’. He know Trump like that, so it’s like, Trump know what’s up. We both Geminis. His birthday two days after mine. He be down here and stuff. Palm Beach.”
“I wouldn’t give a damn if he let me out of prison anyway. I was still f*ckin’ with Trump, but him doing that, it’s like you got all my love and sh*t,” he said. Kodak expressing his love for the 45th president publicly began while he was incarcerated serving a four-year sentence on a federal firearms charge. Last November, the Florida rapper offered to donate $1 million to a charity if Trump pardoned him before leaving office. “If The President Them Free Me, I’m Gonna Spend 1 million on Charity within The First Year I’m Out. That’s on Everything,” he wrote in a tweet which he later removed.
It seems that Kodak is fully on board for a potential Trump 2024 campaign. Kodak Black is not the only rapper who has shown love towards Trump. Hip-hop artists such as Kanye West, 50 Cent, Lil Pump, Waka Flocka Flame, Tekashi 6ix9ine and others have time and again shared their views in support of the former President.
