BTS Fans React To Cardi B’s Mention During American Music Awards

Cardi B hosted the American Music Awards last night on ABC. In addition to a wild red carpet outfit, Cardi was also on hosting duty for the show. Her crazy pre-show look and the job she did moving the show along received a generally positive reaction from fans.

During the show, Cardi B was flooded with support from fans of the Korean boy band BTS, who react any time anybody mentions their favorite group’s name. Their fans got so excited every time she mentioned their name that the rapper had to tell the crowd to calm down. The BTS army are known to be a powerful force on social media.

BTS took home several prizes at the ceremony. The South Korean band took home Artist of the Year, the ultimate prize at the AMAs. They also won Favorite Pop Duo or Group, and Favorite Pop Song for “Butter.” Cardi B won Favorite Hip-Hop Song for “Up.”
