Jennifer Lawrence is loving life. She’s got a new baby on the way. She’s won Academy Awards for her performances. She recently shared the story of a 2017 flight on a private plane that she believed was doomed to crash.
In the cover story for December’s Vanity Fair, J-Law shared her horrifying story. The plane was on its way from New York to her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. The plan had to make an emergency landing in Buffalo. Lawrence began processing her entire life as she believed she was about to be killed.
“We were all just going to die. I started leaving little mental voicemails to my family, you know, ‘I’ve had a great life, I’m sorry.’”
Lawrence is currently pregnant with her first child. At the time of the scary experience, she had another little one under her care. Jennifer said she felt the worst about her dog Pippi.
“I just felt guilty. Everybody was going to be so bummed. And, oh, God, [my dog] Pippi was on my lap, that was the worst part. Here’s this little thing who didn’t ask to be a part of any of this.”
Fortunately, Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t involved in a plane crash. The flight had a rough landing, but everybody was able to get out without injury. There were only two passengers on the plane when both engines suddenly failed, prompting the emergency landing.
