Odell Beckham Jr. & Lauren Wood Announce They’re Having A Baby

Newly-acquired Los Angeles Rams wideout Odell Beckham and his model girlfriend, Lauren Wood, announced on Sunday that the couple are having a baby. Lauren posted a photo of her and OBJ showing off her baby bump on Instagram. The pair has been together for two years.

Wood captioned the picture with a girl emoji, so we’re guessing that they’re having a daughter. The couple also announced the start of their relationship via social media back in 2019. Now, they’re becoming a family.

Beckham’s dad, Odell Sr., shared the picture and an excited reaction to the news. He can’t wait to become a grandfather. The new arrival will mark the younger Beckham’s first foray into parenthood. Beckham Sr. noted that Lauren and the baby are healthy and doing fine so far.

OBJ started his career with the New York Giants in 2014 after being drafted 12th in the first round of the NFL draft. He was traded to Cleveland in 2019, and spent most of his time there trying to get out. Finally, he was waived by the Cleveland Browns and signed with the Rams on November 11, 2021.

Beckham started six games for the Browns this season, but only accumulated 17 receptions for 232 yards. It is believed he wasn’t meshing well with Cleveland QB Baker Mayfield. Matthew Stafford will look to get him more targets in L.A.

The list of achievements throughout the career for OBJ are astonishing. He’s a 3-time Pro Bowler who won the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2014. He was a first team All American at LSU. Now, he can add proud father to his resume. Congratulations to Odell Beckham Jr. and Lauren Wood!
