Travis Scott’s set at Astroworld turned into a living nightmare and 10 people have died now as a direct result of that tragic night. Crowds pushed forward and created a deadly situation. Now security has joined the lawsuits that mounted against Scott and Live Nation.
TMZ reports that security guards are suing Travis Scott and Live Nation over the Astroworld tragedy. More than 30 new lawsuits have been filed against Scott today, and Samuel and Jackson Bush’s suit is among that legal nightmare.
They claim that AJ Melino and Associates hired them to work security for the Astroworld event. The court documents claim that only 50,000 people bought tickets, but many more were actually there. Video footage was taken prior to the concert of many fans jumping the gate.
Both security guards say that they suffered injuries at the event, both mental and physical. Jackson claims that he saw CPR being performed on a lifeless body and he pulled a person from the crowd who died later.
This new lawsuit is seeking $1 million in damages. They are not only going after Scott, but also Live Nation, AJ Melino, and Cactus Jack Records.
There are a lot of lawsuits against Travis Scott at this point. This is added to the $750 million amount that they are on the hook for already and over 100 lawsuits have been filed. We will continue monitoring this ongoing story here at Thirsty.
