Billie Eilish is certainly one of the most attention-grabbing singers in the music industry right now. At only 19 years of age, she has dominated the competition and her songs have been chart-toppers for a long time now. She also loves changing up her look from time to time.

Back in September, Billie Eilish made her triumphant return to the stage at Las Vegas’ iHeartRadio Festival, which was her first gig since her Where We Do Go? World Tour was cancelled in March of last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thanksgiving is a day of tradition and being grateful for all one has in their life. As tradition calls for it, families all over the United States eat turkey for their Thanksgiving dinner.

It seems Billie Eilish is against this tradition. The singer took to her Instagram stories and asked people not to eat turkeys this year and break the tradition, advocating for veganism.

“Turkeys are some of the most gentle creatures in the world and 46 million of them are killed every Thanksgiving. I know it’s hard to change traditions but just keep it in mind :)”

Eilish has followed a vegan diet since she was 12 years old but has never judged anyone who eats meat, as she has friends who consume meat as well. Regardless, Eilish wants to break a longstanding tradition, so it is unlikely many people will listen to her.
