Colby Covington Blasts LeBron James For Being A Woke Athlete

LeBron James is certainly one of the best basketball players of all time. He has played in several teams over the years and competed against the best of the best. Despite this, he is also a subject of controversy very often.

Earlier this year, LeBron James came under fire for a problematic tweet that he made in light of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant being shot dead by police. This resulted in even Donald Trump putting him on blast.

James had posted a photo of the Ohio police officer who shot the teenager and tweeted he was next, in a controversial tweet. James would clarify his deleted-tweet in two more tweets.

While speaking with James Lynch of MMA News, Colby Covington talked about the controversial tweets made by Lebron James targeting an Ohio police officer. Covington also put James on blast for being a woke athlete.

“God bless the first responders. God bless, you know, all our law enforcement officials who are protecting our country, keeping our communities safe and keeping the criminals off the streets. So, you know, it’s not an easy job. They got targets on their back because woke athletes like Lebron James, who you know, just, you know, want to put targets on these innocent people’s lives, lives on their heads, you know. And these are the same people he calls to protect his family and give him private security. So, it just shows the hypocrisy. “

LeBron James will continue to be criticized for a variety of reasons no matter how well he plays in the NBA. This is unlikely to change anytime soon as well.
