Stranger Things & The Mandalorian are two of the biggest shows ever. Netflix’s Stranger Things & Disney+ The Mandalorian were the most watched shows in the United States, until last week. Riot Games’ Arcane has replaced the two to become the most streamed show in the U.S. as of last week.
Riot Games, the company behind competitive multiplayer games such as Valorant & League Of Legends have come out with the series Arcane. The animated series is based on the League Of Legends, an online multiplayer since 2009.
League of Legends has grown into one of the biggest esport games of all time. While the popularity of the game has immensely contributed to the success of the show, Arcane has knocked down the highly successful series in a matter of days.
Deadline reported that in last week, Arcane became the most streamed show in the U.S. Stranger Things is currently awaiting the release of its 4th season next season, while The Book of Boba Fett, a spin off to The Mandalorian is about to drop on Disney+ next month.
Arcane has landed on the third spot worldwide, just behind Game of Thrones & Amazon’s The Wheel of Time. Arcane’s incredible performance has led to its renewal for season 2.
