Dallas Cowboys and Las Vegas Raiders exchanged blows at AT&T Stadium, literally. Thanksgiving went south between both the teams.
Cowboys defensive tackle and Raiders offensive lineman John Simpson were mainly involved in the act. The scene took place after Thursday’s 36-33 overtime thriller. It was caught on camera as you can see in the video at the end of this article.
Hill rammed Simpson’s helmet during the docile postgame festivities. The latter seemed unprovoked at first but eventually ignited a brief conflict near midfield.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hill will not be suspended for throwing the punch at Simpson. He was the team’s 2019 second-round pick. However, his unsportsmanlike action might leave him open to a potential fine.
Hill finished with five tackles which included four solos across 39 defensive snaps. The thrill-packed game also featured a pair of ejections. Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph and Raiders safety Roderic Teamer were tossed in the third quarter after scuffling on a special teams play.
Hill, Joseph and Teamer are not suspended for the skirmish they caused in the field. However, they should be ready for fines coming their way.
