Miami Heat should retire from Udonis Haslem’s jersey? Dwayne Wade says it’s a matter of when and not if. While talking to TMZ Sports he said that he knows his former teammate’s jersey will hang from the rafters in Miami one day.
Haslem joined Miami in 2002. He is considered a Heat legend and has spent his entire career with the organization. He’ll remain the Heat legend as long as he is in the team.
Dwayne Wade and Haslem have a very strong bond. The two players played together for the Heat franchise for several years. They won 3 championships in that period.
Haslem postponed his retirement this past offseason and signed on with the Heat for the 19th year. The player doesn’t see much playing time these days. But his impact on the sideline and locker room is certainly felt by the players.
When Wade was in New York for the release of his new book “Dwyane.” TMZ asked him if he had any advice for players on the Phoenix Suns. Whose owner Robert Sarver has been tangled in allegations of racism and misogyny.
The co-owner of Utah Jazz answered that he is ownership now. And will not comment on other teams.
