Gordon Ramsay Fires Matt Worswick Following Explosive Kitchen Incident

Matt Worswick has left his job as head chef at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant Savoy Grill after having spent just one year there. Fans of Masterchef may recognize Matt from the 2010 contest where he made it through the semifinals.

Matt announced on Twitter, saying” My journey has come to an end at the Savoy, I’d like to thank all the staff past and present for their hard work and dedication. I’d like to wish Gordan Ramsay all the best and continued success for the future.” Worswick joined the restaurant in September after leaving his previous job.

Worswick’s Twitter profile has been set to private so nobody can view his tweets unless they were already following him.

While some sources report Gordan was abroad at the time of the incident others state that there has been an almighty argument and now Matt is packing up his ladles and heading out for good.
