Georges St-Pierre is certainly one of the most popular and legendary fighters in the entire MMA world. The UFC Hall Of Famer was at the top of his game back in 2013, but would leave the company for a few years, which shocked many.
Georges St-Pierre made his return to the UFC back in 2016 where he faced off against Michael Bisping in a different weight class. Georges St-Pierre would hang up his gloves for good in 2019, bringing an end to a legendary career.
On the other hand, Anderson Silva is regarded as one of the all-time greats in the world of MMA who competed against several top names in the MMA world when he used to be active. Silva was released from the UFC last year in November after he lost to Uriah Hall in his final match.
Silva and St-Pierre are two of the all-time greats and fans wanted to see the two face off against each other. A fan took to Twitter and asked Conor McGregor who would win in a fight between the two at their prime.
Conor McGregor made it clear that he thought St-Pierre would bottle Anderson Silva if the two ever squared off against each other.
“George bottled it. Plain and simple.”
Georges St-Pierre also previously hinted at competing in big fights after his UFC contract expires in 2 years. Of course, whoever he does fight in the end, one can be assured that it will be completely his own decision and will have nothing to do with the UFC.
