Fetty Wap recently gave his take on the arrival of new artists. He claimed that the SoundCloud rapper wave was started by him. The grief took him to a very dark place in his life.
The rapper was living a good life and then tragedy struck. Until the news surfaced related to the rapper’s family, with the mother of his child informing that his 4-year-old daughter has passed away.
Turquoise Miami, the mother of his 4-year-old daughter Lauren Maxwell confirmed the tragic news this past weekend via Instagram. She said that, “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart, and hard headed princess mermaid Aquarius. If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself, ‘I love you LAUREN’ because they say that souls can feel your love #RIP.” The cause of death for the young girl hasn’t been revealed. But Fetty Wap took to Instagram to deliver a few words via his stories. The rapper dedicated his Rolling Loud Miami set to his little one and said, “Lolo daddy did that s**t for you last night baby girl.”
While talking to Fat Joe, Fetty Wap shared, “Nothing in my life could ever be that bad. That’s the worst thing that ever happened to me in my life. I say that to say my head’s always high. I was in a real dark place after that. It was two weeks after my 30th birthday. I turned 30 on June 7th, and my daughter died on June 24. I’m like ‘Why?’ You try to justify it was somebody else that did this.”
The rapper continued saying, “Still, to this day, I slip into a dark place, but I know she’s smiling with me, I know she’s watching down on me. I know she’s looking at me like, ‘Daddy it’s all gonna be okay, It’s all going to be good.’”
The rapper’s daughter reportedly passed away in her sleep. Now, Fetty Wap has shared his emotions on the loss of his daughter. He said that it took him to a dark place, as the news came only weeks after turning 30.
