Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club may have ended as a failure, but there’s nothing to worry about it. Fans will be getting a new reality show. The show is apparently on the horizon, and it sounds kind of amazing.
While MTV is canceling her reality series, Lindsay Lohan revealed that she’s writing what sounds like a half-scripted-half-reality series. The series is starring the 33-year-old Lohan and her family members. The revelation came during an interview on Australia’s Studio 10 this week.
“I’m writing a TV series that will come out in America. Almost like a reality show, but not a reality show.”
The entrepreneur and Syrian refugee activist revealed that she’ll play at “kind of being a puppet master,” and will also star in the series with her siblings. It’s still not clear that which siblings will be featured in the untitled show, or whether mother Dina Lohan or daddy Michael Lohan will make an appearance.
Finally, fans are getting the Living Lohan revival. Living Lohan was a critically-panned reality show on E!. The show aired for a total of nine episodes in 2008. The show mostly followed Lindsay’s sister Aliana and momager Dina attempting to break into show business, and featured Lohanigans from brother Cody and grandma Ann Sullivan.
An insider close to the production claimed producers were hoping to turn the focus of the show on “Lindsay and Dina and Ali” for the second season. But they later added, “that wasn’t going to happen.” Now, it appears that’s exactly what Lindsay is cooking up.
According to a source of Page Six, Fans hope that she’ll bring some drama to her new show. Beach Club dried up because it lacked the drama fans needed. The fact Lohan herself is participating can be threatening for the Kardashian’s reality TV reign.
