Jake Paul has always been part of huge boxing matches and the hype he builds for each of his matches is almost astonishing. The YouTuber turned boxer also possesses a face that many people would like to punch, including his own friends. Jake Paul also loves trash-talking his opponents before his matches and it has been quite effective on each occasion.
Jake Paul’s current character sees him as a heel who loves getting under the skin of his opponents before every boxing match. Jake Paul isn’t afraid to call out top UFC stars for fights as he has called out the likes of Nate Diaz on numerous occasions for a fight. At one time he even called Nate Diaz every day to book a fight against him.
While speaking to talkSPORT, Drew McIntyre compared Jake Paul to the legendary Muhammad Ali by emphasizing just how big of a heel Jake Paul truly is right now.
“Jake Paul is a foe of everybody I guess. He gets it. So few people are willing to be true bad guys and make the public pay to see them get beat and he is a true bad guy. Whenever I see him show up at these events and the whole crowd starts booing him, I’m like ‘wow, that’s pretty cool.’
It’s like Muhammad Ali back in the day. Everyone just remembers the good parts and how great he was, but if you remember in the beginning of Ali’s career, he was playing the heel and taking inspiration from WWE and playing that character, making people hate him so they would pay money to see him get beat.”
Jake Paul also previously stated that Muhammad Ali was never tested like him. We certainly wonder if Jake Paul will ever make his way to WWE similar to how his brother Logan has.
