Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are once again facing public backlash for their public displays of affection. The power couple, which merges the unbridled energy of punk rock with the influence of the Kardashians, is being called out by fans after a PDA popped up in a TikTok recorded by 9-year-old daughter Penelope.

As Penelope recorded, the three spun around in circles singing. At one point, Kourtney and Travis stop to enjoy an intimate embrace. Penelope kept dancing, oblivious to the gropefest that was going on between the adults. The Mirror reported on the controversy.

Fans replied that the moment was awkward at best. Many said it was completely inappropriate. They also said that the couple may be stunting Penelope by oversharing her most personal moments.

Penelope is one of three children Kourtney shared with ex Scott Disick. Travis has two children of his own with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, both older than Kourtney’s youngsters. Penelope was recently banned from TikTok for violating their community guidelines. Users must be at least 13 to use the app.

Despite the banishment, Penelope continues to share videos on her mom’s TikTok. She recently posted a video with her cousin North West singing and dancing. There were no inappropriate moments between adults noted in the clip.

The couple’s engagement will be featured on an upcoming Hulu series. Kourtney and her entire family have made names for themselves through overexposure. If fans are surprised by the amount of sharing they do, they might need to look at the entire adult life of every Kardashian who has ever appeared on television and realize that this is their way of life. Many believe it’s not fair for Penelope to not have a choice in what they’re sharing.
