Adele is finally heading to Las Vegas. She announced her residency on Weekends With Adele. The show will run from January 21, 2022, until April 16, 2022.
The exclusive residency will be accommodated in the Colosseum of Las Vegas’ famed Caesars Palace Hotel. Adele will perform two shows each weekend. The singer shared the news on Instagram by writing, “See you at Caesars in Vegasss.”
Fans can register for presale tickets using Ticketmaster from November 30 to December 2. Ticketmaster issued the understatement of the year: “We expect the demand for tickets to see Adele to be overwhelming.”
Previously during an interview with, The Face magazine, Adele shared that she “acknowledge all of the many layers of myself” following her divorce from Simon Konecki, with whom she shares a 9-year-old son, Angelo. “Obviously, after a really big life moment, like my divorce, it’s good to experiment a little bit more with sort of eclectic inspirations,” she said. “I wanted to, more than anything, just comfort myself. It wasn’t really about what I wanted to say for people. It was more like, ‘What do I need to hear for myself, lyrically?'” she continued.
Adele requested Spotify to remove the automatic “shuffle” default when clicking play on an album. The streaming service swiftly accepted her request. “This was the only request I had in our ever changing industry! We don’t create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended. Thank you Spotify for listening,” she tweeted earlier this month.
Adele has previously been on a world tour in 2016 and 2017 to promote her previous album “25.” This will be her first performance since 2017.
