Britney Spears Is Finally On The Right Medication After 13-Year Conservatorship

Britney Spears recently took to Instagram to reflect on her legal journey and revealed that she was now on the “right medication.” Britney Spears is continuing to celebrate the termination of her conservatorships and we can’t get enough of it.

Britney’s conservatorship was terminated, by the judge in a Los Angeles court, on November 12 this year. This gave Britney control of her person and estate once again. “You might be surprised cause my prayers are pretty damn powerful ESPECIALLY when you are on the right medication!!” Britney captioned her photo referring to the medication she is now under.

Previously, Britney openly declared that she wants to take legal action against her father for conservatorship abuse. Among the many disturbing allegations, she said that the people behind her conservatorship forced her to take medication that she did not want to take. Lithium was one such substance that she was forced to take not “cooperating” with their rules.

“He took me off my normal meds I’ve been on for five years. And lithium is a very, very strong and completely different medication compared to what I was used to. You can go mentally impaired if you take too much, if you stay on it longer than five months. But he put me on that and I felt drunk. I couldn’t even have a conversation with my mom or dad really about anything. I told him I was scared, and my doctor had me on six different nurses with this new medication, come to my home, stay with me to monitor me on this new medication, which I never wanted to be on to begin with.”

Britney thanked her fans in an Instagram video where she mention how thankful she is for her new life without the conservatorship. “My voice was muted and threatened for so long and I wasn’t able to speak up or say anything,” said Britney. “Because of you, I honestly think you guys saved my life in a way,100 percent.” Watch this video of Britney thanking her fans below.
