Rihanna Officially Recognized As A National Hero Of Barbados

Rihanna remains one of the most successful singers in the music industry right now. While her singing career is certainly great, she doesn’t exactly have the best track record when it comes to relationships. However, it seems that might have changed this time around with Rihanna’s latest partner, A$AP Rocky.

The couple is clearly in love and it definitely seems like a healthy relationship. They continue to meet up during adorable date nights and make headlines just for that reason.

Rihanna is truly a national treasure for many and it seems it isn’t limited to just one particular country. Rihanna was recently in her home country of Barbados as she witnessed the island country cut ties with the British as it declared itself a Republic.

Prime Minister Mia Mottley met with the international superstar and on top of that, she declared Rihanna as the country’s National Hero of Barbados. The event took place in the singer’s hometown of Bridgetown.

“May you continue to shine like a diamond and bring honor to your nation by your works, by your actions.”

Rihanna was in attendance and was also in Barbados to see the swearing-in of the country’s new president, Governor-General Dame Sandra Mason. Whether it’s capturing the hearts of millions with her music or making fans lose their minds over her thirst trap photos, Rihanna never fails to deliver and go beyond what fans expect from her.
