Spotify Wrapped 2021 is already a global sensation. As fans take to social media to talk about their most streamed songs, artists and albums, there are clear winners in the music industry who have been streamed the most. While Bad Bunny is the most streamed artist in 2021, many major artists remain in the top 10.
Taylor Swift, who has re-released two of her classics, has secured the second spot in the list. South Korean boy band BTS is on the third spot, while Drake is on the fourth spot after his latest release Certified Lover Boy was a massive success worldwide. Former teen sensation Justin Bieber is on the fifth spot.
Other artists in the top 20 include The Weeknd, J Balvin, Ariana Grande, Olivia Rodrigo, Juice WRLD, Dua Lipa, Rauw Alejandro, Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, Billie Eilish Kanye West, Eminem, Myke Towers, Travis Scott & Pop Smoke, in that order.
This year was huge for rap. If we narrow down the list to only rappers, Drake rules the first spot. Juice WRLD came second, after whom eclectic rapper Doja Cat secured the third spot. Kanye West, who released DONDA this year, received the fourth spot.
Veteran rapper Eminem, who is no short of a master of his craft, still remained in the fifth spot. Eminem still retained the spot despite not having released a new album this year. MTBMB: Side B is still in the charts, and Eminem is still being streamed by his wide array of fans.
