Many consider Kanye West a true genius when it comes to being a businessman and also as an artist. It is hard to argue with that fact as West has proven time and time again why he is one of the best ever. It seems West was called out by Van Lathan for a good reason.

Kanye West’s music has touched the souls of many fans all over the world and he has continued to break records over the years. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t respect his peers.

Despite all of his success, Kanye West is also a very controversial figure, as his past actions and words have shown that off over the years. It seems Van Lathan even confronted him about it.

Van Lathan already previously mentioned how he confronted Kanye West about his “slavery was a choice” remarks, While speaking to VladTV, Van Lathan talked about how Kanye West doesn’t actually advocate for free speech but ‘white speech’ instead.

Kanye talks about free speech, right? He talks about the fact that he should be able to say whatever he wants to say, and that’s true. But he doesn’t seem to like other people’s free speech very much… Kanye doesn’t want free speech. What he actually wants is white speech.”

He explained that “white speech” means “saying whatever you want to say and there being absolutely zero repercussions for you saying it.” “That is how white people used to run America and talk to Black people in the days of old.”

Lathan also revealed he regretted rejecting Kanye West’s invite to talk about the matter at his place. It is unlikely Kanye West will ever truly learn from his past mistakes from the looks of it.
