R. Kelly is currently in prison on a separate federal indictment that includes child pornography, sexual exploitation of children and conspiracy to defraud the U.S. Government. He has been labelled as a predator and even tried to have charges against him dropped.
As reported earlier, the disgraced singer was found guilty on all counts in his federal trial. The disgraced rapper hasn’t yet been sentenced for those 9 counts of sex crimes. Even his victims spoke out in relief after the guilty verdict.
YouTube took down two of R. Kelly’s channels. RKellyTV and RKellyVevo we removed while YouTube prohibited Kelly from using, creating or owning any other channels on the platform. Certain fans were outraged at this fact as well
In her memoir, The Pursuit of Porsha – How I Grew into my Power and Purpose, Porsha Williams opened up about her relationship with R. Kelly. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star stated that she always felt danger when she was with him and that he held her in a mental state.
“I was definitely held in a mental state. I felt danger. He had just been one of the men who was a predator in my life, who had taken advantage of me and mentally abused me. So I saw him no different from those same men. That same darkness, that same treatment, they faced and met the same Porsha who did not know her self-worth.”
R. Kelly also released a statement after his conviction. R. Kelly is likely to be behind bars for a very long time and we wonder if he will be given a maximum life sentence in the end.
